Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Inventory & Systems Team Leader to join us on our Tool Station site in Northampton.

You will be responsible for overseeing the stock team and managing all aspects of the stock operation, placing the highest regard to colleague development, wellbeing, and health & safety

This role is predominantly Monday - Friday working hours 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm rotational shifts, with 1 in 3 workings Sundays

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Providing leadership and guidance for the stock team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address any potential issues effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Developing effective relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders
  • Proactively manage the daily stock activities. Ensure IT warehouse system is maintained and ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Legal and Health and Safety aspects of site operations
  • Pro-active in driving change and continuous improvement throughout the stock operation

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Previous experience in stock control & Inventory
  • Experience of improving employee engagement
  • Experience of developing relationships with employee and customer
  • Highly analytical and IT literate
