Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our team in Bromford Gate, Birmingham. As a Finance Manager you will cover full weekly management accounts, period reporting, forecasting and budgeting with a clear focus on shaping the direction of the site while, identifying opportunities to improve both GXO and customer P&L.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Production of both financial and operational management reporting as required for the site, business, and customer
  • Preparation of Forecast and Budgets, ad hoc variance analysis and integrity of invoicing and P&L entries
  • Mai ntain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training
  • Build and support delivery of site budgets, developing and presenting management accounts (weekly and monthly) to customer and internal stakeholders, forecasts, KPI's and CI initiatives, project work, insight and analysis

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Either part or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA
  • Familiar with open and closed booked accounting
  • Familiar with open book accounting
  • Previous experience in finance, in a logistics environment would be beneficial
