Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a Driver Trainer to join our team in Rotherham supporting our shared user site. You will continue to drive your normal duties when not training and where necessary, you will come off the road/duties to conduct training and or assessments.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday - Friday.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000.00 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Assess new and potential drivers but also where applicable existing drivers on driving abilities
  • Give tachgraph compliance advice where needed
  • Deliver vehicle familiarity training inclusive of Gas Trucks
  • Train and assess all agency staff and New Drivers on standards and procedures at the depot

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven experience in a training leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry
  • Experience in safety leadership, with the ability to promote a culture of safety, implementing effective safety protocols, and fostering continuous improvement in safety practices across transport operations.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation operations, safety regulations, and legal compliance.
  • Must hold at least LGV1 License
