At our expanding site in Lelystad, where we partner with a renowned Global Fashion brand, we are looking for a driven Customer Service Officer to join our Quality Control department. What you do on a typical day

  • Check all garments, inspecting reworks in terms of ironing, steaming, and sewing
  • Running tests, examine if the product meets the necessary requirements for distribution
  • Choosing the best ironing option together with the department and reporting any kind of incident related to quality issues
  • Manage and resolve quality incidents (contact the clients quality control team in headquarters in). Sample's control
  • Checking the quality and right finish of the textile after ironing, sewing, and steaming
  • Requests for goods measurements
  • Defining parameters for the samples received on the workshops from the suppliers
  • Checking the ironing of articles and contact with the ironing workshops to find solutions and advise on the most suitable type of ironing for the garment
  • Training on new finishes, quality, and parameters
  • Control of incoming goods and subsequent checking with department tools and applications

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • You have Textile Knowledge of tailoring and garments treatment with different types of ironing on Industrial scale
  • You are fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
  • You have availability to work in shifts
  • You have an EU driving license
  • You are committed to deliver high quality work and you have a professional critical attitude
  • You are self-driven, result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
  • You have Knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel
