As a Customer Service Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of operations, both administratively and internally. You'll serve as a vital link between our warehouse and our external customers, utilizing your insights into customer needs and warehouse processes to elevate our service to new heights.

Your responsibilities will include handling orders, administrative tasks and managing various internal flows, all with the aim of enhancing the overall customer experience and contributing to the success of our site. Your tasks consist of:
  • Order Processing: Accurately and responsibly handle customer orders, ensuring all details are processed and recorded efficiently.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customer questions and resolve queries related to orders in a satisfactory manner.
  • Coordination: Set out and coordinate internal and external issues to facilitate smooth order processing.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and effective records of all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Problem Identification: Actively identify potential bottlenecks in communication or logistical services that could affect order processing.
  • Administrative Handling: Manage administrative aspects of complaints and questions related to order processing.
  • Process Improvement: Look for opportunities to improve order processing and discuss them with your Manager.

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • MBO+/HBO level, with 2 to 4 years of similar experience gained within a customer service environment, logistics would be advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Good experience of reporting and presentation skills
  • You are proactive, communicative, flexible and accurate
  • You enjoy working as part of a team
