As we continue to expand, we are on the lookout for skilled Class 2 Drivers to become part of our Avonmouth team. You will play a crucial role in delivering our freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and delicious food items to our stores, ensuring they receive their orders on time and in top-quality condition. You will receive thorough training in all aspects of the job and will be responsible for transporting goods on fixed routes using 14, 15 and 18-tonne vehicles.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an 'any 5 out of 8' pattern with start times between 08:00 and 10:00. This role is contracted to 48 hours per week, ensuring a stable and consistent workload.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Deliver tote boards of chilled, frozen, and ambient products on a multi-drop basis
  • Complete an average of 12 drops a day
  • Assist in unloading stock during delivery
  • Collect waste and return it to the site
  • Navigate through busy city routes and handle challenging parking locations
  • Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
  • Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Hold a valid Class 2 licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no IN, TT, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
