Role Summary and Impact
GroupM's Data and Analytics team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Quality Analyst for a short-term contract project. As a trusted data partner to a global leader in interactive entertainment and gaming, we empower their marketing and advertising initiatives by managing a complex global database. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our data by focusing on fast-paced data cleansing across all media channels and platforms dating back two years. You will collaborate with planning, activation, and strategy teams to resolve data mapping issues, apply proper labels, and address data-related inquiries, ultimately contributing to the harmonization and reporting of critical information.
Please note: This hybrid position requires regular in-office presence. We are only considering candidates based in the New York tri-state area.
Responsibilities:
- Data Quality Monitoring: Monitor the data entry process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information (such as campaign and placement names) both in planning tools and in platforms such as TTD, DV360, Meta, X, and Amazon.
- Data Cleansing and Remediation: Identify and address data inconsistencies or errors, collaborating with data engineers to implement technical fixes and improvements.
- Data Discrepancy Resolution: Work with teams to resolve data discrepancies in media platforms and/or within internal applications.
- Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates on data cleansing progress and the overall health and performance of the data system. Keep engineering teams informed about recurring issues or areas for improvement, providing guidance and feedback.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with planning, activation, and strategy teams to ensure smooth data flow and adherence to established protocols. Build strong relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication and support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data quality management, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience working with media data and advertising platforms (TTD, DV360, Meta, X, Amazon).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques is a plus.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
