Job Purpose:
We are hiring for a Data Quality Analyst to join the team, focused on monitoring the quality of manual data entry (approximately 60% of the data) into custom planning tools. You'll ensure planning and activation teams adhere to naming conventions and map activity to the correct media channels and campaigns. You'll collaborate with planning, activation, and strategy teams to ensure adherence to data entry protocols and provide ongoing training and support. Additionally, you'll serve as a customer support representative, addressing data-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues.

Please note: This hybrid position requires regular in-office presence. We are currently only considering candidates based in the New York tri-state area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Quality Management:
- Monitor the data entry process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information (such as campaign and placement names) both in planning tools and in platforms such as Google, Meta, Twitter, and Amazon.
- Identify and address data inconsistencies or errors, collaborating with data engineers to implement technical fixes and improvements.
- Ensure planning and activations are reporting on all offline and digital media direct buys.
Record all results of all tests and map them to the correct campaigns.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with planning, activation and strategy teams to ensure smooth data flow and adherence to established protocols.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication and support.
- Reporting and Support:
- Provide regular reports on the overall health and performance of the data system. Keep engineering teams informed about recurring issues or areas for improvement, providing guidance and feedback.
- Act as the first point of contact for data-related inquiries from both PlayStation and internal teams.
- Provide customer support in Slack channels to both PlayStation and EMC teams.
- Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate planning, activation, and strategy teams on data entry best practices, the importance of data quality, and how data is used for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Must have a deep understanding of both programmatic (DV360, Campaign Manager, Meta) and traditional media operations, including campaign booking processes.
- Previous experience in agency settings, ideally in ad ops or a similar role with exposure to media planning and campaign execution.
- Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, and Domo.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus, as it can facilitate data investigation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, explain technical concepts clearly, and provide empathetic support.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing data quality and providing effective customer support.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing data issues, with a focus on finding solutions and implementing improvements.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
