This isn't a hands-on modeling role; it's about owning the model outputs, translating complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations, and collaborating with internal and client teams to maximize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Client Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact for Unilever's measurement and brand teams, providing expert consultation on MMM outputs and their implications for media strategy.
  • Insights Generation: Analyze monthly refreshed MMM results, distilling key findings into actionable recommendations for Unilever's ice cream brands across all media channels (national/digital, TV, print, OOH, programmatic, retail, and commerce).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal Mindshare teams (BI, Buying, Planning, Digital Investment, Data Ops, and Tech) to integrate MMM insights into holistic client deliverables.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to refine and optimize existing MMM processes, collaborating with the 3rd party modeling team to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends in MMM and advanced analytics, contributing to Mindshare's thought leadership in the field.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operational Research, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to own and manage complex analytical projects.
  • Strong understanding of MMM methodologies, including data collection, transformation, attribution, and delivery of results. Be prepared to discuss your understanding of the end-to-end MMM process during the interview.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx (for data transformation and workflow automation), and Tableau/Power BI for data visualization.
  • Experience working with large datasets and various media data types (impressions, GRPs, spend, etc.) across all channels.
  • Experience in a media agency or analytics consulting firm is highly preferred. Familiarity with traditional and digital media data is essential.
  • Experience with Unilever or other CPG clients is a plus.
