Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $61,000.00 to $101,600.00.

You Will:

The Sales Learning and Development Team provides role-specific learning for over 4,500 North American Sales and KeepStock team members and leaders that builds capabilities to drive profitable growth. Reporting to the Manager Learning Operations in this hybrid role with three days per week in Lake Forest at our headquarters location, you will have responsibility for:

  • Deploying learning processes and administering learning technology.
  • Setting up, test, managing and deploying learning through multiple learning technology systems and provide Level 1 technology troubleshooting support and 24 hr. issue resolution for US and Canadian Sales and KeepStock teams.
  • Supporting learning content management by creating and managing robust data repositories, collaborating to create, and adhere to established content governance. ¡ The role is responsible for the creation and management of tools, resources and processes to curate learning content to ensure its relevance and the timeliness of the material.
  • Business process analytics including specializing in analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to effect change, particularly when new policies and procedures are introduced.
  • Executing operational and logistics management for live, in-person onboarding training in Lake Forest as well as collaborating with the Events Team to organize and manage large off-site corporate meetings where Sales and KeepStock training is being provided. (US Position Only)
  • The Field Training Intake allows the Training team to record, prioritize and execute new training opportunities or improvements to existing training. A large percentage of all intake requests require support of the Learning Operations Team. Team members partner with field training resources to determine scope and create/manage a project plans to meet expectations while managing to business target completion dates.
  • Partnering with Leaders on the Field Training team to understand key business metrics needed to track results of the learning programs for the Sales and KeepStock organizations. The role creates and manages reports and dashboards in several systems to support the reporting requirements of each field training program.
  • The team manages a suite of dashboards and reports using several different technologies: ongoing program management reports and dashboards for each program (Smartsheet), onboarding performance reports after each milestone using GTES reporting and Smartsheet, monthly program manager reports (excel) and new Program Overview Dashboards built and managed via PowerBI.

Learning Deployment and Live In Person Meeting Management:

  • Partnering with Design Leads to understand the deployment requirements for a specific learning solution relative to content completion tracking, assessment set up, organization of the learning, targeted audience, etc. Applies best practices and knowledge of system functionality to consult on the use of technology and accurately set up learning to deploy to the targeted audience.
  • Executing timely, accurate and efficient set up and deployment of new learning content, assessments, and practice across all Learning Technology systems within our Learning Technology Ecosystem including a Learning Management System, a Sales Enablement coaching and practice platform and the field training content management platform.
  • Working with Design Lead, Program Managers and Data Analytics to extract completion data and other key data to consolidate reporting. Builds and curates custom reports and dashboards to support the Field Training COEs daily activities, to deliver efficiencies and to measure program effectiveness using Smartsheet, Excel and Power BI.
  • Handling the operational and logistics execution of live in-person learning for our sales and service team members and leaders in Lake Forest. Works with Facilities Maintenance to secure training space, manages catering orders, manages external relationships with hotel vendors, managers transportation, manages hotel reservations and works with external printing vendors to print and distributes learning materials to learning participants (US Role - Panama roles do travel in to help manage room support during large sessions.)

Learning Content Management (Largely US Role - to lesser degree Panama roles do help to manage content as it relates to their aligned onboarding program.)

  • Creating and managing training content libraries used for the creation of Sales and KeepStock onboarding training creation and to support the continuous learning post onboarding
  • Assists in creating and maintaining content organization standards, naming standards, content metadata capture (tags, filters and folder permissions) and curates the content leveraging standard governance processes. (All roles)
  • Partnering with content owners and Design and Development Team to ensure content is up to date and version controlled through management of stakeholder workflow processes. (all roles)
  • Creating and updating reports to understand age, and usage to support ongoing curation activities.
  • Collaborating with other support and technology teams to support long term planning of sales enablement tools, resources and potential external relationships.

Learning Technology Technical Support:

  • Provides exceptional customer service engaging in basic learning technology troubleshooting and Level 1 support for all NASS team members.
  • Leverages a standard support process to communicate and engage with team members.
  • Thinks systemically to resolve issues to deliver a high-level experience using a continuous improvement mindset. Business Process Analytics and Improvement Execution.
  • Team members are assigned onboarding programs as an operational lead to support ongoing business needs and looks for continuous improvement opportunities to improve internal processes and the team member learning experience
  • Evaluates stakeholder/team needs, internal workflows, and business processes and meets regularly with business leaders to prioritize program improvements.
  • Oversees detailed business analysis and process reengineering as needed to improve efficiencies and mitigate system constraints.
  • Collaborates with the stakeholders inside an outside of Field Training Operations to create new process designs as needed to support improvements.
  • Documents detailed business processes and models activities for future reference (Standard Operation Procedure documents)
  • Serve as intermediaries between decision-makers, and management teams to keep track of business performance, conduct process mapping and identify internal inefficiencies.
  • Assesses business requirements and makes evidence-based recommendations to support process improvements.
  • Identifies potential barriers and works to develop proactive process-based solutions that can mitigate unplanned downtime and eliminate productivity losses.

Operational Excellence:

  • Applies Standard Work in daily activities, ensuring a consistent quality experience to our customers. Approach work with a CI mindset and deliver back process improvement opportunities and best demonstrated practices where applicable.
  • Maintain individual productivity measurements in support of organizational goals (i.e. gross profit, cost to serve); including metrics on number of learning items loaded, cycle time, and quality of work.
  • Agile and open to migrating to new learning technologies as our learning roadmap advances Understands how to navigate all areas of Learning and Development to efficiently manage work. • Embrace change management principles to drive success into work.
  • Embrace curiosity to ensure foundational understanding of the process is embedded in daily work. Be a good steward of the business to help and support others in the work.

You Have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • MRO product knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with SAP preferred, strong systems experience such as Microsoft applications including Access & Excel, PC applications, e-mail, and internet search
  • Strong business acumen and decision making • Demonstrated capability to multitask in fast-paced team environment
  • Strong aptitude and interest in operating in multiple learning technologies platforms
  • Ability to be at corporate in Lake Forest, IL 3 days per week.
