Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience with partner/account management or in partner facing roles in the entertainment, digital, or media industry.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in retail, media, or distribution.
- Ability to field and prioritize incoming requests, manage escalations and bring issues to resolution.
- Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
- Ability to succeed in a changing, fluid, and collaborative environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, consultation, and presentation skills.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complex strategic partnerships with key players in the ecosystem and drive senior-level engagement with key partners across the Japan shopping ecosystem.
- Develop, facilitate, and execute deals with partners in a fast changing business setting.
- Identify and maintain pipelines and tracking documents, communicate key updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Drive cross-functional/cross-regional engagement with teams including Strategy, Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations in order to deliver on key product area objectives.
