Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience in software development, demonstrated through academic projects, open-source contributions, or prior professional roles.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with expertise in Java, C++, and Python.

As a Software Engineer, you will join an experienced and healthy team of engineers who own, develop, and run the Google Calendar Backend. You will put your software engineering skills into practice and learn how to build products that affect billions of people every day.

Responsibilities
- Work in the Calendar backend code base and infrastructure (mostly in Java).
- Pair with experienced Calendar engineers to help you get familiar with our systems.
- Participate in the entire product launch cycle from design to implementation to productionizationand testing and will have opportunities to explore all these different stages.
- Implement new functionality in various Java backends.
- Work on new and innovative products such as Gemini for Calendar, Calendar Search, or Workspace Analytics.
