Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++, Python, or Java programming languages and with data structures/algorithms, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  
• 2 years of experience building and architecting production quality Machine Learning (ML) systems.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  
• Experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., JAX, Pytorch, or TensorFlow).
  
• Experience with launching applied ML/NLP projects.

Responsibilities

• 
  Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

  Build the platform that incorporates fine-tuning, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, model optimization, etc. into the Google product development lifecycle.
  
  
• Develop and maintain our products, written in C++ and Python, conforms with Google-wide coding and testing standards.
  
• Design and implement customer requested GenAI features through multiple stages such as requirements gathering, proposing design and building agreement among the key stakeholders, implementing and rolling out to production.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify emerging technology related to GenAI and develop a plan for translating these into practical solutions for Google products.
