Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in hardware testing or qualification with signal integrity, power, and timing
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in collecting and organizing details to reproduce the failure and explain the root cause and solutions.
- Knowledge of characterizing CPU, Memory and peripheral devices quality using statistical analysis with excellent data collection skills to facilitate quick, accurate failure analysis from the vendor.
- Knowledge of computer systems: physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, and thermal.
- Excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will qualify new servers and specialized hardware for Google's data centers. You will ensure that equipment is reliable. You will plan and execute the most effective way these tests at scale for the entire global team. You will work with design engineers, you will give input on designs to improve hardware.

Responsibilities
- Create test plans and coordinate resources across many test environments. Perform electrical, functional, reliability, and performance tests to ensure hardware solutions meet Google's requirements.
- Report bugs and drive corrective action where needed with external suppliers or internal development teams. Maintain andimprove the qualification process.
- Work with Original Device Manufacturer/Joint Development Manufacturer (DMs/JDMs) to ensure testing to meet Google standards. Drive the test efficiency and better test quality. Focus on Gen-to-Gen Optimization and process improvement.
- Validate Cross platform x86/ARM/GPU script. Evaluate and develop component (Network, Storage, GPU, memory) performance.
- Test framework script (e.g., Python, shell script). Dedicated Component software coordinator for platform based hardware integration validation.
