Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 10 years of experience managing software programs.
- 15 years of experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in software architecture, design and development of Scalable and Reliable systems.
- Experience in executive-level communication.
- Knowledge of Networking, including in Network Management and Control planes, Software Defined Networking.
- Ability to manage without authority and challenge the status quo when necessary.

As a Technical Program Manager focused on Google Networking Technologies (GNT), you will work with the Global Google Networking Technology team. You will scale the Google Production Network by managing cross-functional programs that require working with all organizational levels and groups.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a robust and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource management, demonstrating measurable improvements and organization-wide impact.
- Deliver cross-functional projects/programs predictably, ensuring customer value, including managing software programs with large components that manage data, control, and management plane functions for Google's global network.
- Collaborate with core engineering teams to develop and articulate long-term strategy and short-term plans, creating roadmaps, engaging teams and engineers, and setting the development pace for software systems and infrastructure.
- Leverage technical acumen to drive project delivery, technology reviews, guide technical proposals, and build consensus across cross-functional teams. Focus on quantitative analysis, translating findings into actionable plans and recommendations.
- Define project/program success criteria, establish measurable milestones, track deliverables. Measure and optimize to improve project velocity, quality, and efficiency.
