Senior Director, People Partner, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of HR Business Partner/Senior Management experience.
  • 5 years of people management experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 15 years of experience in senior HR leadership roles setting strategy, designing and executing complex people programs of global scope and leading organizations through periods of significant change. Experience supporting sales, product, and technology teams building for enterprise customers.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator and influencer. Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders and advocate change through influence rather than authority and senior level HR management and generalist experience in a high performing and fast paced global environment, especially in high tech.

    As a Senior Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Google Cloud APAC Go-To-Market (GTM) leader and multiple Cloud Vice Presidents across the region. You will support this critical growth market for the Google Cloud business. You will directly manage a team of People Partners.

    In this role, you will work across People Operations and Google Cloud teams to ensure these organizations have the people strategy and plans in place to deliver on the business strategy. You will utilize strategic thinking, business acumen, regional and country expertise, in-depth understanding of the People Operations operating model, and take initiative. Whether coaching clients on how to lead their teams, or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you will be focused on solving for Google, putting our people first, and being as transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made.

    Responsibilities

    • Consult with leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to drive business strategies and outcomes for an enterprise customer base and growth market.
    • Support cross-functional business teams, including enterprise GTM organization in a growth market and establishment and investment in technical development centers in region.
    • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
    • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
    • Solve complex problems and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
