The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain geo data policies for features on Maps.
- Partner with Product managers, Operations leads, and other Google policy makers (e.g., Trust and Safety, Legal, Government Affairs) on policy creation.
- Partner with the Tools and Machine Intelligence teams to ensure smooth integration of policy within Geo's tools and algorithms.
- Manage sensitive policy escalations and provide sound policy advice and guidance.
- Manage the vendor relationship to ensure timely content creation, execution, and ongoing improvement to policy programs.
