Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of UKI industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in UK and Ireland.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience designing marketing solutions using product knowledge to drive long-term success for customers.
  • Experience in designing and building Go-To-Market strategy for acquisitions. Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Experience planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for any client.

    As a Business Development Consultant for Google Customer Solutions, you'll help clients develop national and international marketing strategies. In this role, you will be cultivating and developing relationships with new businesses, helping them to grow and develop their digital marketing strategy. You will build and manage a pipeline of clients working towards strategic objectives and be responsible for collaborating with a number of internal stakeholders to support the long-term success of new customers and partners. You will establish Go-To-Market Strategies with stakeholders as an entrepreneur and benefit from extensive autonomy to deliver high, sustainable results. You will consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals utilising the full suite of Google's marketing solutions i.e. YouTube, Google Search & Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead your pod, designing vertical Go-To-Market strategy and corresponding plan for execution. Elevate those around you through diligent role modeling, consistent sales behaviors and customer outreach.
    • Manage the whole sales cycle for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship post closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance and offer opportunities.
    • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with cross functional teams.
    • Acquire high touch - high value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.Design marketing strategies using expert product knowledge to drive long-term success for our customers.
    • Deliver consistently against strategic goals, prioritizing and delivering an outstanding experience to Google's advertisers within UK and Ireland.
