Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
- 5 years of experience coordinating or managing resources for data center locations, and leading operational or project based work and tasks.
- 5 years of experience coordinating or leading security.
- 4 years of experience managing incidents and crises.
- 2 years of experience with physical security system architecture, components, installation methods, administration, and troubleshooting.
- 2 years of experience with data center technologies, infrastructure, and methodologies.

As a Google Security Manager, you will actively participate in security improvement projects and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You will lead efforts, deliver value-added perspectives, and influence project direction. You'll contribute cross-functionally, identify, and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$143,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the compliance, security, and risk management program at the Data Center campus or related infrastructure which includes managing site security incidents, escalations, guard contract management, and all other physical security related issues.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response, or crisis management when needed.
- Implement established compliance processes aligned with policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- Manage the security related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned campus. Assist management with financial analysis and input to financial decisions for security requirements.
