Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience in manipulating data sets using SQL or another programming/scripting language.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced data science techniques (e.g., statistical models, machine learning, multivariable regressions, etc.) and forecasting.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in using SQL for extraction and transformation of large, complex data sets.

    The Revenue to Cash Operations team manages Google's business growth processes globally across all product areas, including Ads, Digital Goods, Google Cloud, and Hardware. Our team powers Google's ambitious growth agenda by creating innovative ways to manage our complex set of billing and payment transactions, making processes more efficient and scalable, minimizing operational risk, integrating Google acquisitions and new products, connecting with new payment and invoicing partners, and more.

    The Cash & AR Management (CARMA) team within RCO manages Alphabet's Accounts Receivables balance and is responsible for credit risk, collections, cash applications, and the associated subledger and operations controls and analytics.

    The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform analysis of complex datasets to enhance our understanding and drive business decision-making.
    • Partner with stakeholders to test hypotheses and generate targeted insight.
    • Apply advanced analytical techniques to facilitate the scaling of our processes and operations.
    • Design, document, and implement reporting suites to manage operational performance.
    • Provide management with clear insights into drivers of change (e.g., metrics, trends, etc).
