About the Role:

As the Vice President of Brand & Creative you will lead development and execution of a comprehensive brand marketing strategy and vision, covering all aspects of the GoodRx business. This role is responsible for brand creativity, positioning, stewardship, and strategy, along with communicating the GoodRx purpose and value proposition internally and externally.

This individual will hone and champion core brand messaging across all touchpoints and teams within GoodRx for each of the customer segments important to the business, ensuring clear connectivity to our central brand purpose. The role requires a passion for building brands, a proven ability to make a complex story relevant and accessible, a relentless focus on the customer, a data driven mindset, and an ability to evangelize the brand message across the company. The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, collaborative and not afraid to take risks. They will also have a track record of connecting brand value and measurement to business performance, working closely with analytics and insights counterparts.



Responsibilities:

  • Amplify the GoodRx brand and position the Company as a trusted partner in the healthcare space for end consumers and for partners, like pharma manufacturers
  • Design and implement a brand strategy in partnership with the head of media that builds brand awareness and aligns marketing strategy with business goals
  • Works with media, consumer experience/insights, and other teams to develop campaign, evergreen, and segment-level advertising that drives business results
  • Partner with internal data teams to track and monitor GoodRx brand performance and contribution to critical business success measures
  • Lead and inspire our incredible creative teams in the development of compelling brand assets with messaging that has an enduring effect on our customer segments, raising awareness and building intent to use GoodRx

    • Creative Asset Examples: digital channels including social, display, native, video, national video (tv, streaming, OTT) and audio (podcasts, radio, streaming), CRM/SMS, event marketing, influencer/user content, direct mail, point of care marketing, OOH and other print
    • Ensures creative development - internal or partner - adheres to our brand standards and guidelines, and connects to our key messaging pillars
    • Works with internal project/resource management team to ensure effective work allocation across internal, freelance, and agency resources
  • Oversees our community engagement (organic social and digital customer management) and content marketing teams, working closely with editorial, PR, and research teams which sit outside of marketing.
  • Effectively manage deliverables, report on progress/performance and proactively communicate expectations with team and stakeholders
  • Align a main brand message across all GoodRx consumer touch points
  • Partner with Marketing, CX/Insights/GTM, Design, Retail, Pharma, and Product teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey



Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent
  • 12+ years of direct-to-consumer brand marketing experience with proven work examples
  • Significant experience as a creative or directing creative teams
  • Curated portfolio demonstrating a range of creative executions across channels/segments emphasizing B2C strongly encouraged
  • Experience implementing and communicating a meaningful B2C brand visions (B2B experience a plus)
  • Deep understanding of effective positioning, brand architecture, and brand voice
  • Experience establishing process to drive initiatives forward
  • A proven track record of executing multi-channel brand marketing campaigns
  • Prior experience with a company with digital customer acquisition preferred
  • Excellent strategic customer-focused thinking skills
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assertions of business value
  • Highly collaborative individual that leads with trust, influence, and relationship building over title and tenure
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams and manage external partners
  • Action-oriented with a "roll up your sleeves approach"
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative
  • Driven to constantly improve work and find new opportunities through research, experimentation, and calculated risk taking
  • Healthcare/Financial Services industry experience a plus

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:
$252,000.00 - $402,000.00

New York Office:
$231,000.00 - $369,000.00

Santa Monica Office:
$210,000.00 - $335,000.00

Other Office Locations:
$189,000.00 - $302,000.00
