The Global Leadership Team is a team within Wealth Management that provides support to the Regional Management Teams, Private Wealth Advisors, and many other business enablers in daily business operations.
The Associate for this role will work across the organization with other areas such as Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations and Marketing. The multi-faceted role requires an individual with strong analytical and problem solving, quantitative, communication, presentation, and project management skills who is capable of multitasking across several large projects.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Tell the evolving story and strategy of Goldman Sachs Wealth Management; assist with the creation and development of GSWM's annual Strategy & Business plan, goals, and objectives.
- Conduct Wealth Management competitor research to uncover key themes, drivers of industry change, and evaluate GSWM's relative positioning and provide recommendations.
- Facilitate cross functional meetings between WM leadership, business units, and other key stakeholders in order to identify and drive key strategic initiatives forward.
- Develop concise and effective presentations and governance materials for Senior Leadership, Management Committees and the Board, as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge/experience in Wealth Management a plus.
- Experience using market / competitor research including familiarity with corporate filings and financial statements (e.g. 10-K) to drive insights and inform recommendations and action plans.
- Excellent writing and presentation development skills that can take complex concepts and create concise narratives for presentation and discussion.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines.
- Effective relationship building skills and the ability to work in a matrixed, collaborative organization.
- Self-starter who learns quickly and is attentive to detail.
- Highly proficient at Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
