Assistant Treasurer assists the global treasurer in the direction and management of the organization mainly for the US Legal Entity :
oversees treasury activities, guarantees financial transactions, policies, procedures; moreover manages & maintains the organization Treasury systems & tools; finally acts as a back up for main activities (eg: payment initiation/approvals)

Job Description

Treasury management (US LLC)

  • Bank management: opening/closing bank accounts, relationship, maintenance ETPS portals, conditions, fees monitoring, documentation management
  • Cash / Liquidity management: Bank credit facilities, daily liquidity monitoring, short term investment in bank portal
  • Bank Guarantees
  • Direct Debits
  • PoA & SoD documentation: maintenance and updates

  • Bank Audit: support internal & external auditors
  • Support to Shops

External Payments management (US LLC)

  • Monitor ERP Payments
  • Initiate & monitor Manual Payments (as insurance, rents, taxes, social securities, leasing)
  • Manage rejected payments
  • Checks

Intercompany Payments (Aero)

  • Support monthly I/C payment process through the Intercompany Billing System (IBS) or any new tool will be implemented in the future
  • Manage monthly payment to banks: reporting, payment initiation on TMS, closing position after payment

Moreover in this position will act as BACK UP in the Treasury function to ensure no failure in daily activities in any period (illness, holidays, retiring) ensuring full coverage + full knowledge of the TMS tool

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting plus 3-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of Treasury cash management instruments and products
  • Experience in cash management tool
  • Skills in Controllership & Auditing

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge / experience with KYRIBA Treasury Management System and I B S (GE Intercompany Billing System) will be highly appreciated
  • MBA or equivalent preferred in Finance or Accounting.
  • Risk management technical knowledge
  • Analytical and planning and organizing skills along with the ability to think and act strategically
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to manage outside service providers
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, research analysis and problem solving / proactivity skills
  • Demonstrated high integrity and ethics in all activities.
  • Experience with business processes management
