Job Description
Main responsibilities
- Be central point of contact for ESG & Sustainability topics, coordinating with relevant functions and responding to stakeholder requests
- Develop GRID GSI Sustainability strategy & vision based on assessment with key stakeholders, and in alignment with wider GE frameworks
- Establish Sustainability Management Plans for GSI projects with the sustainability guidelines, processes & frameworks for Contractors and Works
- Represent GRID GSI in GE wide initiatives, programs and goals like Carbon Neutral Operations, Science Based Targets and ESG
- Lead data collection, internal verification, coordination
- Lead/coordinate decarbonization and Sustainability efforts in GRID GSI operations and value chain
- Secure internal GRID GSI stakeholder engagement / alignment / buy into Sustainability initiatives
- Network with other P& L Leads to ensure alignment and seek synergies wherever possible
- Coordinate deployment of GRID GSI specific Sustainability strategy, track and report progress to central team and key stakeholders.
- Support commercial teams in customer responses for Sustainability information
- Support communications strategy for Sustainability, owning GRID GSI story
- Foster employee engagement and educate and inspire internal and external stakeholders on Sustainability

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management from an accredited college or university would be strongly preferred.
- Experience in GRID industry or in power generation industry.
- Experience in sales & commercial function or strategy / management consulting
- Fluent in English and German
- Customer oriented
- Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-business teams
- Contemporary IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; integrative team working style, able to work into a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to make decisions with limited or conflicting data
- Strong rigor in reporting and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously
