Role Summary
This role will be responsible for running Data Center, NW POP operations across Americas for GE Vernova. You will lead a team of contractors with clear and descriptive set of requirements working in lockstep with multiple product owners, contractors, security, and others to ensure 100% uptime and deliverables are met. There is a high level of operational judgement to successfully achieve outcomes. This role will also work to establish standards and documentation to be leveraged globally in our data centers as well as data rooms.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Run ops and new builds in colocation footprints including but not limited to - cages, racks, enclosures, PDUs, cabling, rack and stack, ticketing, and documentation.
- Establish and run ITA, DCIM, ServiceNow and other tools as needed to keep track of inventory.
- Own global governance and compliance documentation to establish standards and revisions while working with local teams to ensure compliance for data rooms.
- Work with global team on tools and standards for best practices
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors to ensure adherence to GE Vernova policies such as preventative maintenance, access logs, and budgets in assigned region
- Ensure colocation maintenance, incidents, and Change Management Process within ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework are tracked and communicated.
- Work cross-functionally with compute, network, storage, and other data center operations teams to deliver solutions.
- Prioritize multiple budgets with a continual focus on cost efficiency and risk management
- Responsible for Purchase Orders and budgets as it relates to colocation, hands and feet, and related colocation AD-HOC orders.
- Responsible for data center exits and physical migrations within the region.
- Provide capacity metrics to aid in forecasting and optimization.
- Support internal and external Data Center Audit and compliance activities such as providing documentation, walkthroughs, and calls.
- Attend P0 and P1 call bridges impacting outages for colocations in assigned region and work to finalize Root Cause Analysis
- Willingness to travel within assigned region as needed. Expect < 10% of the time after colos are stood up and operating.

Qualifications/Requirements
- U.S Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), or bachelor's degree in non-STEM major with 8+ years in data centers.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the data center domain or a master's degree with 6 years of experience or equivalent military experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in or with a colocation provider to stand up new footprints.
Desired Characteristics
- Expert Project/Program Management experience. Colocation footprints strongly preferred.
- Excellent technical writing skills with emphasis in SOPs, MOP, etc.
- Experience managing large scale data center exits and new colocation builds.
- Strong vendor management/customer-facing experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
- Experience working with Finance as it relates to Opex and Capex, ideally in data centers
- Knowledge of hybrid environments with on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrates knowledge of service assets, configuration management, and change management processes.
- Can-do-attitude with history of delivering on time
- Desire to continuously learn, grow, develop new skillsets, and work with new technologies.

The salary range for this position is 127,600.00 - 170,100.00 - 212,600.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health and Retirement.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
