Job Summary

The Senior Manager of CRM and Lifecycle Marketing is a strategic and technical leader responsible for architecting and scaling personalized, data-driven customer lifecycle programs across email, SMS, direct mail, and owned channels. This role will own the full CRM marketing tech stack-defining requirements, leading integrations, and collaborating on platform architecture to unlock targeted, measurable, and automated communications. They will serve as a cross-functional product owner for lifecycle marketing, working at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology to drive revenue, retention, and operational efficiency across Rentokil-Terminix North America.

The leader recruits, trains, and manages a high-performing team, establishes best practices for leveraging data and analytics, and explores advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance personalization and efficiency. Staying informed on privacy regulations and emerging trends, this role ensures compliance while driving creative and inclusive marketing efforts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing strategy: Studying economic indicators, identifying customer needs, and monitoring the competition to develop a digital marketing strategy
  • Managing campaigns: Planning, preparing, and executing campaigns for CRM channels and more
  • Analyzing performance: Tracking and reporting marketing KPIs to show ROI
  • Leading a team: Recruiting, selecting, training, and managing a team of marketing professionals
  • Establishing best practices: Establishing best practices for using data and analytics to inform marketing and campaign effectiveness
  • Identifying opportunities: Identifying new areas for integrated social and digital programs
  • Master Data Analysis and Visualization Tools: Develop proficiency in advanced analytics software to interpret campaign data, predict customer behavior, and personalize content effectively.
  • Explore AI and Machine Learning Applications: Understand how AI can optimize email personalization, segmentation, and send times to increase open rates and engagement.
  • Stay Abreast of Privacy Laws and Regulations: Keep informed about changes in data protection laws like GDPR and CCPA to ensure your email marketing practices are compliant.
  • Adopt Advanced Email Design Techniques:Learn about interactive email elements, accessibility standards, and mobile-responsive design to create compelling and inclusive email experiences.
  • Enhance ESP technology Skills:Strong working knowledge of ESP landscape, implementation and execution and reporting, ability to optimize test and learn
  • Implement Omnichannel Marketing Strategies: Integrate your email marketing efforts with other channels for a cohesive customer journey and a unified brand message
  • Experiment with Email Automation Platforms:Get hands-on experience with different email marketing and automation tools to find the most efficient solutions for your campaigns.
  • Focus on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Learn techniques to optimize landing pages and email funnels to improve conversion rates from your email campaigns.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, including strategy development, campaign management, and performance analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams; preferably within a remote environment.
  • Prior experience working with email marketing platforms (ESP), automation tools, and implementing omnichannel strategies.
  • Strong background in data analysis, visualization, and using analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and CRO techniques, as well as experience navigating privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

  • Ability to study market trends, analyze customer behavior, and craft long-term marketing strategies.
  • Strong team-building skills with a focus on mentoring, training, and fostering collaboration.
  • Expertise in interpreting campaign data to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
  • Willingness to learn and implement emerging technologies and marketing trends.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and compliance, especially regarding data privacy and accessibility standards.
  • Innovative approach to designing compelling, customer-centric campaigns.

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
