• The role is accountable for managing the project sourcing activities from ITO to OTR execution and commodity sourcing activities as well. He or She will work with project teams and drive the sourcing deliverables including but not limited to EAC management, project deflation, cash improvement, on time delivery, supplier base development and work with cross functional team to ensure the project success.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Participate in ITO proposal meetings and provide sourcing comments on cost & cycle, supply market, preferred vendors at the early stage and eliminate the supply risks during execution.
• Manage the OTR project sourcing execution and work with project team on the sourcing status update, also working with buying team to ensure sourcing activities on time and meet customer required delivery date.
• Comprehend the project scope of supply, contractual obligations (including but not limited to potential LD clue, GPA restrictions, TRS requirements etc.) and development the project sourcing strategy accordingly.
• Lead and achieve sourcing KPIs on negotiations across the owned spend, drive BCC volume and associated saving targets and on time delivery; Drive business cash improvement including Standard Payment Terms and Days to Pay improvement.
• Lead and implement the project sourcing strategies; Reduce risk in supply chain by minimizing single/sole source situations, reducing lead times, and ensuring delivery of quality parts and services.
• Leading the development and implementation of commodities strategies, as well as supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance, or Business.
• Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.7/4.0.
• Minimum 1 year of working or intern experience of Mechanical/Energy Industry Sourcing/procurement.

Desired Characteristics:
• Prior intern experience in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, basic project management awareness and business acumen.
• Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment.
• Strong stakeholders' management skills: ability to link with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency & humility.
• Very strong customer service and results oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated FastWorks, Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and detailed oriented.
• Acceptable 20% travel.
