The Sourcing Specialist will control and manage the sourcing and supplier panel for the assigned commodity(s) and business segments.

These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives for assigned commodity within the purchase family.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shortage escalations and search for shortage parts via authorized distributors and/or brokers (for mass productions, NPIs, transfer projects).
  • PPV analysis and feedback.
  • RFQs preparations, follow-up & analysis (for mass production, LTBs, NPIs, Transfer projects).
  • ECOs(Engineer design change ) related sourcing support.
  • Last Time Buy (LTB) workflow initiation and tracking.
  • Identify and implement Cost Reduction opportunities and activities.
  • Supplier Panel management for given commodity, including onboarding and sample approvals when required.
  • Raising of Purchase Orders in SAP for NPIs, Samples and Last Time Buys, including invoice actions and support, when required.
  • Build and strengthen supplier relationships.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • MCIPS qualified, or working towards
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with demonstrated years of work experience in sourcing or procurement or in depth work experience in sourcing or procurement.
  • MS Office applications including good level of Excel functionality, and experience of using Smartsheets.
  • Experience of using ERP, preferably SAP Good communication skills.
