Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Place and follow-up on POs (Purchase Order)
• Manage relationships with suppliers
• Manage commercial problems and schedule changes
• Update ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
• Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects
• Negotiate Terms of Purchase
• Negotiate Supply Agreements
• Complete commercial supplier on-boarding and work with Supplier Quality for product qualification
• Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects
• Work together with high level people from the business at SPB (Senior Professional Band) and EB (Executive Band) level
• Provide assistance to Commodity Leaders
• Develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge
• Lead supplier performance reviews
• Advise functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures
• Contribute to project as a team member or lead small projects
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

The salary range for this position is 70000 to 85000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
