Job Description Summary

We have an exciting opportunity within GE Grid Solutions for a Key Account Manager to join a dynamic sales team!

This is a customer facing role where you'll be responsible for winning new business, developing, and converting pipelines and making an impact on relationships, projects and programs that affect your customer base in the Transmission, Distribution, Power Generation and Industry in the Nordic countries. You'll be guided by commercial practices and policies and have significant control and influence over commercial properties. You'll collaborate primarily with your colleagues in Power Transmission North Europe as well as with the broader Grid Solution organization and the other GE Vernova businesses.

Job Description
• Responsible for sales of Power Transmission products and services by developing new customer accounts and grow business volume with existing customers.
• Create, communicate, and execute sales/growth strategies and well-defined account + action plans for each assigned customer and key product/service offerings.
• Lead outcome selling account planning process with each strategic account to establish a deep understanding of their business outcomes and needs, and align and quantify our value proposition with our customer's specific business outcomes,
• Creating and driving account opportunities from prospecting to closure using tools and teams available to drive customer success.
• Role includes quoting, proposals, marketing, deal desk, customer events, and customer facing requirements.
• Uses judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, products) to align implementation of initiatives around prioritized customer segments targeted by channels. Coordinate with marketing/sales ops
• Discipline in CRM (Salesforce), sales processes and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute strategy to drive growth.

Your Background
• Significant experience within sales.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university, college or equivalent, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Customer orientated/ Growth mindset.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Ability to develop key customer relationships.
• Full proficiency in English and Norwegian (Scandinavian language).
• Unyielding commitment to integrity.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a distributed sales structure.
• Self-starter with high energy level is key to success in this position.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
