Senior Regional Customer Application Engineer (RCAE) - Americas

Remote

Job Description Summary

The Regional Customer Application Engineer (RCAE) is the primary technical interface with New Unit Customers, across the Americas, during the pre-ITO (pre-Inquiry-To-Order) phase (i.e. prior to a firm proposal). This person is responsible at the individual opportunity level for influencing and positioning GE Vernova (GEV) with Customers and for defining the best technical configuration and strategy for firm proposals. Further, the RCAE is expected to interface as required at varying levels with others in Americas ITR (Inquiry-To-Receipt) such as Application Engineers (AEs) and Project Engineers (PEs), as well as within the regional pre-ITO team, to assure the GEV solution remains aligned to Customer expectations. Given the technical/commercial hybrid nature of the role, the RCAE position provides those with a strong background in gas turbine or thermal power generation an opportunity to grow in the project development and commercial spaces; likewise, those with a strong commercial and project development background will have an opportunity to increase depth in gas turbine and combined cycle technology.
