Roles and Responsibilities

• Project management of large and complex turnkey EPC projects as a sole contractor or within a consortium for substations in distribution and transmission systems up to 420 kV.
• You are responsible for overseeing the project and directly or indirectly leading and/or managing project resources.
• Contributing to strategy and policy development and ensuring its implementation within the scope of responsibility.
• Possessing in-depth knowledge of best practices and integrating your area with others.
• Using sound judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in the areas of operations/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
• Acting as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
• Creating a project management plan.
• Managing the entire project scope, risks, and opportunities, and analyzing customer requirements.
• Taking responsibility for the project margin and maximizing profit at each phase of the project.
• Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project and with the client, including reporting to management.
• Ensuring the team has the necessary expertise and competencies.
• Ensuring adherence to quality procedures.
• Demonstrating leadership in the EHS area.

• Extensive experience in (turnkey / EPC) project management.
• Certification by PMI or equivalent.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and high project-related content.
• Experience in team building and developing team culture.
• Management of projects with significant financial, technical, and commercial risk.
• Experience with profit and loss (P&L) goals.
• Willingness to work at different locations for short or medium periods and travel worldwide.
