  • Conceptualize and work in business development through customer connect and defining and presenting GE's offerings and working on localization solution for APAC.
  • Work as Senior interface on Large, complex multi-year HVDC & FACTs projects for the APAC region. Main areas of responsibility will be working with Product Engineering team, Central Technology team, Project execution team & Customer to drive solutions implementation which can be acceptable ensuring optimizations. Will have to demonstrate direct leadership and/or management of project deliverables.
  • Defining localization solution in the area of HVDC & FACTs for building in APAC supply chain for APAC and World.
  • Work with business leader for implementation of location solution in time bound manner.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
  • Drive business development within the market, identifying opportunities for growth. Identifies market demands in terms of technology requirements and advancements, feeding back to business.
  • Support teams on customer negotiations. Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires good experience in the HVDC & FACTs technology Projects. Should have Bachelor's / Master's degree in Power Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from reputed college and B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from Top college/university with exemplary academic records.
  • Should have 12-15 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
