Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to Commercial IT team and collaborate with our product managers, business analyst, developers, and business users to understand business needs, control release quality to avoid escape defects across Digital Websites, Portals and Commercial Applications. Partner with development & DevOps teams, to conduct Functional testing, Performance, Regression testing and QA automation.

The ideal candidate has a background marketing technologies, has proven success in a setting up automation frameworks, and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Build and Execute automation scripts using tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression and performance testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Investigate the root causes of non-conforming software.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work/technical experience.
  • 4-5 years' experience working in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.
  • 2+ years of test automation experience (Selenium or Tosca)
  • 2+ years of experience on Jasmine, Zest for JavaScript.
  • 2+ years of Drupal CMS experience
  • 2+ years of HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT and any programming language.
  • Experience using tools such as Browser Stack
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Experience testing across various browsers/tools/Operating systems/view ports etc.
  • Web services testing experience (Postman and JSON preferred).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize.
  • Passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced Agile environment with diverse/ multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with test automation on Drupal CMS
  • Experience in Digital Marketing Tools/Technology
  • Test Automation using TOSCA or QTest
  • Self-driven
