Projects Sourcing CoE Leader at Gas Power will be responsible for overall coordination of operational execution, strategic initiatives, and processes for the Global Projects Sourcing organization. Responsibilities will include managing Projects Sourcing bowler and related reviews; running daily management and leader standard work for managing key KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture; and partnering with team leaders across Projects Sourcing and Configured Systems sourcing teams. This role will manage teams with responsibilities for MSD and BoP Operations, Quality Docs, MRP and Cost Control, TDI/IPR, and providing active partnership on the Genpact TCOE scope with these teams.

Role Summary/Purpose

Projects Sourcing CoE Leader will be responsible for overall coordination of operational sourcing execution, initiatives, and processes for the Global Projects Sourcing team. Responsibilities will include creating and managing Global Projects Sourcing Bowler and daily management around managing those key KPIs such as on-time delivery, project cost tracking, supplier recovery and tool implementation. The Ops Leader will lead a team with responsibility for Processes, Tools, Quality/Docs, Cost Control, TDI/IPR and providing input on the TCOE Buyers/Expeditors Daily Management. The Leader & their team will manage the Bowler reviews, MORs, QSRs & other leadership reviews for the Global Projects team pulling in the relative commodity and regional teams as needed

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Team with global sourcing and finance teams to implement and execute project cost execution and tracking processes. Ensure regular EAC updates are executed with accuracy and consistency
  • Working cross-functionally with engineering, ITO, projects & logistics, coordinate efforts to identify sources of margin erosion and implement corrective actions
  • Together with project fulfillment and scheduling teams, provide sourcing support to improve and maintain schedule, tracking and reporting tools around on-time delivery
  • Working cross-functionally with sourcing, engineering, projects & logistics, coordinate efforts to identify causes for late deliveries and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and coordinate Projects team support of ERP and cost tracking tool implementation activities
  • Develop and maintain Projects Sourcing operating rhythm for key deliverables such as equipment cost, fulfillment, supplier recovery
  • Organize Projects Sourcing support of other key initiatives such as supplier conferences and other global initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Major years Power Generation experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations or Project Management experience

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
  • 10+ years of Sourcing Experience for Power Generation products; preferably with a focus on plant equipment accessories (MSD, BOP, HRSG)
  • Demonstrated Team Leadership Experience and Capabilities

"For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $145,400.00 - $241,600.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.

This position is also eligible for 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
