Job Description

For our GE VERNOVA entity Laboratory of Oil services (Laboratory Oksman SERAPHIN) based in Toulouse (France), and leader in the maintenance of submerged electrical transformers (dielectric oil analysis), we are currently looking for a Product Sales Specialist (Services).

Reporting to the sales manager of the laboratory (SME of 17 people), you will have to ensure the implementation of the sales strategy in Spain, belonging to the sales team based in France. You will also be responsible for commercial development and the production of offers to key accounts in Spain (multi-technical maintainers, transformer manufacturers, Industries, Energy producers, utilities, etc.).

Location: You are ideally based in Spain (Office in Madrid or Bilbao or Home Office), with travelling for customer meetings in Spain and monthly business trips in France (Toulouse/Lyon).

Essential Responsibilities:

As a Product Sales Specialist (Services) M/F for Spain, your main missions will be:

  • Qualify and survey the market's elements : Size, actors, competitors, prices,..
  • Adapt the offer to the Market success factors: Build comprehensive offers corresponding to the needs of key partners in Spain (including the costing of offers).
  • Promote laboratory services; Advise customers according to their technical needs.
  • Develop new customers (animate existing relays, and build others).
  • Manage the most strategic accounts for the Laboratory with the support of communication and the Sales Manager (organize conferences, review commercial brochures, share documentation, etc.).
  • Defend commercial offers to customers, and conduct business discussions.
  • Develop the presence of the laboratory in Spain by conducting prospecting actions (e-mailing campaigns, contact research, events, etc.).
  • Strengthen the network of existing customers by linking strong partnerships.
  • Participate in the evolution of the laboratory's commercial strategy.
  • Work in close collaboration with operations (sampling, analysis) to ensure the proper delivery of services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction: evaluation, plan management, follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • You have obtained technical graduation at the level of Master's degree (industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, electromechanics, physical measurements, chemistry or equivalent), and ideally have confirmed experience in selling products and/or services for the electrical power distribution market in Spain.
  • You have a good understanding of electrical engineering, which will allow you to easily communicate with your customer contacts (electrotechnical maintenance).
  • You are autonomous, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and a certain leadership that will allow you to define your commercial strategy, and to carry out your sales successfully. You are ideally familiar with the Spanish Electrical Maintenance Market. You have a very good interpersonal relationship and like to work in a team. You have an professional level of English.
  • A integration path in the Laboratory in Toulouse France is planned during 4 to 5 weeks.

Dielectric oil analysis and services:

  • Follow-up of the insulating fluid of transformers.
  • Analysis report with maintenance indications for equipment prevention.
  • The main analyses that can be carried out are: Dielectric Breakdown voltage, Water content, Acidity index, PCB content, Chromatography of dissolved gases, Furans, Methanol.
  • On-site sampling services.
  • Management of transformer fleets and expertise.
  • Sampling training.
  • Consulting Online Monitoring.
