The Aeroderivative Engineering Operations Engineer is a critical part of the Aeroderivative Engineering team responsible driving Operational Excellence and will play a critical role in the team's success.

What you'll do
- Drive consistent global operations strategy, standard work process rigor, and best practice sharing across global teams to operate as ONE engineering team.
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of demand/capacity (workload forecasting) models and processes to help functional leaders prioritize and deploy resources across the organization effectively and drive productivity to deliver overall financial performance.
- Support the team's Long Range Forecast (LRF) process.
- Ensures KPIs/Operating metrics are in place and driven to target.
- Drives internal delivery and responsibilities across the organization and own data management and accuracy.
- Partner with cross functional business leaders, peers, and technical resources to integrate business tools while delivering cost effective solutions for business success via effective Daily Management.
- Support the team's indirect labor strategy to support engineering teams, including efficiencies of scale, cost savings and vendor performance management.
- Travel & Leisure (T&L) budget management.
- Support and drive improvements in the Engineering Development Program (EEDP) and Intern recruitment and retention playbook.
- Partner with engineering leaders to enhance new-hire onboarding experience.
- Own and maintain the team's portal page containing the most frequently requested operational and technical information.
What you'll bring (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Internship and/or Co-op experience in an engineering, operations and/or program management function.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
What will make you stand out:
- Background, experience or courses in forecasting techniques (regression, moving averages, time series models), operations research or applied math.
- Ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly collaborative person and Clear thinker.
- Experience with various operational tools such as Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, MS Access, PowerBI, etc.
The base pay range for this position is $71,600.00 - 107,400.00 per year.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
