Job Description

As a MECHANICHAL ENGINEER, you will be involved in design, customization and BOM creation of high voltage circuit breaker, with main focus (but not limited) to the identification and validation of mechanical /electrical spare parts of the CB (pole components, operating mechanism) according to technical specifications and customer request, working with PM in in the daily management of technical activities. The same activity can be extend also to High Voltage Disconnectors

• Drawing issue (CAD and 3D output/models)
• Mechanical validation of various components
• Investigation in alternative material or different manufacturing technologies
• Redesign of on noncritical parts with competence center approval
• Product customization for framework and orders
• Cost analysis and manufacturing optimization proposals
• Factor acceptance test
• Support in the resolutions of Non conformity and Risk and FMEA analysis etc
• Issue of technical document for internal or external use

• Internal: SER, Production, Purchase,R&D, Standardisation, Laboratory, Engineering, Sales Dept
• External: Customers, other SER organization (Third party)

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical field or High school diploma with relevant work experience

• Few years of experience in the field of mechanical /electrical engineering
• Fluent in Italian and English written and spoken. German language knowlegement will be considered a plus.
