Roles and Responsibilities
- 1. Maintenance Management:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of equipment
and facilities.
- Schedule and oversee routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Manage budgets for maintenance projects and ensure cost-effective operations.

2. EHS Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations and environmental laws.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and environmental impact evaluations.
- Develop and implement safety programs, training sessions, and emergency response plans.
3. Team Leadership:
- Supervise maintenance staff and EHS personnel, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a culture of safety, encouraging team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance skills.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety incidents, and compliance inspections.
- Prepare reports for management on maintenance performance and EHS compliance status.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in maintenance and safety operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting EHS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management,
or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in maintenance management and EHS.
- Strong knowledge of Equipment Maintenance and safety regulations and environmental laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) are a plus.
