Job Description Summary

The Lead Lifecycle Services Engineer will be responsible for execution and support of controls lifecycle services as part of the greater Controls Lifecare Services (CLS) program. In this role, you will work with customers and other GE Vernova functions to develop and execute objectives for CLS program and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term goals for the Controls business line.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
  • Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
  • Collaborate and partner with multiple functions (engineering, services, commercial) to execute lifecycle management and OTR responsibilities
  • Ownership of customer reports, proposal templates and costing (Lifecycle Analysis, Preventative Maintenance etc.)
  • Performing controls Technical Information Analysis (TIL) analysis, maintaining the TIL database for controls Lifecycle, and being the services subject matter expert for controls TILs
  • Support in maintaining the controls hardware and software lifecycle database
  • Support of commercial and quoting teams for lifecycle opportunities
  • Support customer meetings for lifecycle services
  • Support development of lifecycle management tools
  • Communicate progress, status, and strategies to all levels of the controls organization including Executive leadership

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience in gas / steam turbine operation and technical background in MarkVIe, EX2100e, LS2100e and/or GE cyber security products.

DESIRED:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences
  • Familiarity with GE Technical Information Letters (TILs)
  • Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple teams
  • Project management and team organization experience
  • Leadership, Black Belt, or Group Facilitation experience
  • High proficiency with computer tools (MS Office suite)

The base pay range for this position is $98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
