Job Description Summary
The Sr Director - Innovation and Partnership Programs Director is responsible for driving the execution and tracking of strategic initiatives, incl. highly complex cross-disciplined programs that span multiple organizations and various stakeholders (e.g.: within GE, customers, partners and governments agencies). S/he will be responsible for defining and executing programs, and tracking and monitoring execution, risks & opportunities to ensure program on-time delivery.

- Support the definition of strategic roadmaps for Grid Solutions.
- Drive the definition of the Innovation Program, incl. milestones, for Grid Solutions's Incubator.
- Manage Risks & Dependencies between organizations.
- Define and implement processes for coordination between organizations

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's degree in science or engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience incl. software development project management, risk management, strategy. Along with established leadership credentials.

- Ability to influence a highly matrixed organization with varying levels of experience, competence and buy-in.
- The position calls for strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate geographically and culturally diverse teams.
- The Sr Director - Program Management will combine strategic capability with a commitment to delivery, and the ability to be hands-on where required.
- Experience in Agile project management, Lean, Innovation methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking)
- Program Management capabilities for complex multi-business projects.
- Financial dexterity to manage business cases and support Prod. Mgt. and Marketing in business cases definition.
- Collaborative team player able to work across businesses and geographies.
