Job Description Summary

The Information Program Manager is responsible for overseeing information management aspects across a portfolio of large-scale engineering and construction projects deploying the GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 small modular reactor. The program manager in this role establishes standards, identifies shared practices, and ensures compliance across multiple simultaneous projects. They will be a resource for the customer, product team, and project information managers during initial project negotiations, setup, and execution.

Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Information Management: Develop and implement standards and systems for managing project information, including documentation, data, and communication, in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Program Direction and Ownership: Provide strategic direction and ownership of the information management program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that information flows smoothly and is accessible to all relevant parties.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of information technology systems from engineering and project management into the construction phase of the project, including software for project management, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and other digital tools.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all project information management practices comply with ISO 19650 standards and nuclear industry regulations. Maintain organizations ISO 19650 certification.
  • Training: Provide training to project staff on information management systems, best practices, and ISO 19650 requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on project information status, including progress, issues, and resolutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of technical experience.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, particularly in the construction and nuclear industries, with a focus on information management, ISO 19650 compliance, and program direction.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software, BIM, and other relevant IT systems.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards, such as NRC, DOE, and ASME codes.
  • Operating at a senior level within the organization.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated people management and motivation skills.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others.
  • Team player with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Self-start with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity.
  • Strong external focus; clear and demonstrated understanding of nuclear industry and/or energy industry.

The base pay range for this position is 112K - 160K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/20/25.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
