Roles and Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for employees & managers by providing leadership, coaching and support for individual employee work related matters & assisting them to utilize the HR processes.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Center of Expertise to execute business-specific HR strategies.
- Ensure that all employee relations and union management issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Assist or lead on HR special projects or initiatives as needed.
- Guide People Leaders and employees through the Performance @ GE Vernova cycles driving effectiveness of the feedback and development actions.
- Support the People/HR Operations team on employee queries that require in-country understanding/knowledge.
- Collaborate with relevant HR Leaders in the region and Global GP to manage employee relations related matters.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a HR related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years prior professional work experience in a Human Resource related area.
- Approachable and responsive resource that is able to connect with employees at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of Taiwan labor laws and government requirements including mobility requirements of inbound and outbound employees.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with working in a matrix organization.
