Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the test & commissioning (T&S) of CCS & DCS projects, M&D Projects, any other GA related projects
• Responsible for the resource planning of the FS commissioning team.
• Manage the workload of the projects to ensure 90% and above billable ratio
• Liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team
• Support to Operations team to Control projects effectively in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, and general reporting (internal / external). Ensure that agreements with customer for documentation lead times, delivery, reliability and quality are achieved within the budgetary constraints agreed within the Unit.
• Follow workplace EHS issues and ensure availability of suitable PPE for T&C personnel, both internal and subcontracted.
• Manage and secure approval as well as renewal of approvals of T&C engineers from key accounts
• Ensure commitments to customer are met in accordance with contract with clear feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g. communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and customer meetings, periodic reviews etc.
• Implementation of ServiceMax

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ plus years relevant Field Service experience preferably DS Agile and protection experience
• PMP certification is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Knowledge of schemes and application of protection relays in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automation
• Good oral / written communication
• Ability to read / interpret tender / contract documentation, schematics, procedures and policy guidelines
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience of managing projects for protection and control systems is a distinct advantage

• Knowledge of GA products and systems, especially Automation
• Good oral / written communication skills in Technical English, Arabic is an advantage, but not compulsory
• Time management skills.
