MQ Configuration -
- Responsible for validating the cluster details, workload priority, queue depths
- Responsible for validating the load balancer - in front of PC and for external services
- Monitoring on failure queues, high water mark (in PT and Prod)
- Monitoring events subscription set-up
Broker Configuration and Database -
- Understand the Execution groups and mapping to ports
- Monitoring events enabled for all flows
- Responsible for verifying the DB setup, testing the connection and the broker configured to Data Source name.
- Verify the log level set correctly
- Monitoring health checkup for Broker.
Technical Skills:
- Prior experience in design, implementation and deployment of the applications based on products like IBM Integration Bus V 10, WebSphere Messaging Queue V 8 (WMQ8).
- Prior experience in transformation in Message Broker using ESQL, java and mapping.
- Extensive experience in implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), APIGEE services using HTTP and SOAP nodes.
- Experienced in working with data formats such as SOAP, XML, Fixed Length and JSON.
- Created and configured Local Queue Managers and Remote Queue Managers including Queues.
- Expert in configuring Distributed Queuing Mechanism DQM, Clustering and Triggering in WebSphere MQ.
- Experience with testing tools such as RFHUTIL and SOAP UI.
- Experience in working with Oracle & SQL developer data bases.
- Experience in creating and consuming XSD, WSDL and WADL files
- Trouble shooting knowledge in Web service and Queue based calls
- Experience in real time data feeds/event streaming using Kafka.

As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
Experience: Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
