Job Description Summary
As part of the Repair Value Stream (RVS) Productivity and Operations Team, the Repair Component Productivity & Operations Leader will lead a cross-functional engineering and operations team to develop and lead execution of strategy to maximize gas turbine component repair quality and productivity across the network of global service centers. This role will also serve as focal for repair product cost out (PCO) measurement, reporting and targets.

Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Product Cost Strategy (PCO) and NPI industrialization : Design a comprehensive PCO strategy for assigned GT parts, with a focus on achieving SQDC objectives and integrating NPI industrialization. This includes setting clear targets, managing an extensive project pipeline, and ensuring robust execution of projects to meet strategic goals.
- Lead Global Component Teams: Take charge of the Global Component Team(s) to drive improvements in repair center productivity. Emphasize standardization across processes and globalization efforts to ensure consistency and efficiency, always aligning with SQDC principles.
- Regular Progress Reporting: Establish a systematic approach for reporting progress on project execution and PCO savings against plans. This should involve detailed updates to Business Leadership, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement within the context of SQDC and NPI.
- Facilitate Interdepartmental Collaboration: Create a framework for effective communication and teamwork among Shop Operations Leaders, Repair Engineering, Lean, Sourcing, IT, and MYA teams. Ensure all functions are aligned with business needs, particularly focusing on enhancing product cost competitiveness through SQDC.
- Collaborate with Lean Team: Work closely with the Lean Team to develop world-class repair flow lines. Integrate considerations for SQDC and NPI to ensure processes are optimized for safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct Action Workouts: Organize and lead Action Workouts to expand the project pipeline. This involves conducting detailed shop-to-shop comparisons and sharing best practices to enhance overall performance with a strong emphasis on SQDC metrics.
- Balance and Prioritize Projects: Strategically prioritize Engineering, Lean, and other PCO projects. Ensure a balanced allocation of resources to support productivity, growth, and NPI, driving outcomes that consistently reflect SQDC priorities.
- Monitor Repair Costs and Set Targets: Serve as the central point for monitoring repair costs, reporting on PCO metrics, and setting ambitious yet achievable targets. Provide comprehensive support for reporting to Senior Leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with RVS and Productivity Teams: Engage with RVS Leadership and teams focused on Productivity, Lean, Technology, and Shop operations to ensure repair cost and cycle data are accurate and actionable. This collaboration should drive outcomes that align with SQDC principles and broader business objectives.
- Develop Automated Solutions with IT: Partner with the IT department to create automated solutions that streamline repair processes. Focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in line with SQDC and NPI goals, ensuring exceptional execution and operational excellence.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing/services operations
