What can you expect from the program?
The GE Vernova Financial Management Program (FMP) is a two-year early career development program that will ignite your professional growth. This program positions you to become a future finance and business leader at GE Vernova. FMP combines business assignments with formal classroom and virtual training in finance, accounting, business, soft skills, leadership development and energy markets.

In the FMP program you will:
- Complete four, six-month rotations (2 years) at GE Vernova, which allows you to learn and develop multiple skills while finding a role that fits you the best;
- Collaborate with and present to senior leaders who function as coaches and mentors throughout the program;
- Actively uphold GE Vernova's values by participating in our inclusive culture both inside the company and in the communities, we serve;
- FMPs have a chance to engage with a Global Community and have diverse experiences through international rotations, in person classes and community engagements;
- Opportunity to travel to multiple locations across EU during the 4 assignments.
The course:
- FMP develops world class, financial leaders for high impact positions. It combines coursework, job assignments, exposure to executive leadership and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial and business skills;
- Training in GE Vernova's core finance competencies to earn diverse on-the-job experiences: Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contributes to the activities of the teams across rotational assignments paired with formal classroom studies.
- Partners with teams from within the business unit to specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Contributes to a wide variety of projects and assignments to grow leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills.
- Works within a team setting and / or under guidance from Assignment Manager.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
About you
You are:
- Graduated from a Master of Science degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics preferred and/or equivalent experience;
- Typically, you would be a graduate looking for a first real taste of working life; Fluent English - spoken and written;
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn;
- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively;
- Focused: adaptive learner, strategically prioritizes work committed;
- Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker;
You have:
- Demonstrated interest and competency in Finance;
- Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative;
- Understanding of business concepts/strategy; intern or co-op experience in finance; business/accounting or analytical coursework; geographic mobility.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the European Union.
At the end of the FMP:
- FMP has equipped professionals with exceptional experiences, as it has accelerated corporate finance careers since 1914. After completion of the program, FMPs will have the opportunity to apply for GE Vernova Operational Finance Leadership Program (OFLP) or a highly valued finance role within one of the GE Vernova businesses.
