This role serves as a key leadership position within the product management function as part of the Pivot to Value (P2V) Systems Architecture team, playing a critical role in the broader Gas Power initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity. As a Systems Architect, you will translate functional requirements from stakeholders, such as engineering, supply chain, and suppliers, into configurable modules and systems with clearly defined interface controls and designs. Your role will involve evaluating configurability across plant/product modules, identifying means of harmonizing or standardizing modules as needed to improve quality, delivery, and cost. The outcome of the evaluations will impact business decisions that optimize the overall value of our solutions while addressing market and customer demands. You will lead the strategic decision-making process regarding make/buy, do/buy, and re-use strategies at the system/module level, determining Gas Power's involvement in system/module fulfillment. Collaboration with horizontal functional partners is essential to ensure optimal and effective decision-making.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- As a Systems Architect, you will own a set of modules/systems throughout their lifecycle, from definition through fulfillment and servicing to end-of-life, managing P2V initiatives to drive change for value creation.
- Translate product and stakeholder functional requirements into module/system requirements that are clear and generate customer value, focusing on configurability at the modular level.
- Plan, prepare, and manage productivity initiatives from beginning to end by reviewing project requirements, setting up project resources, developing and executing against cost estimates, establishing project risk analysis and mitigation strategies, and owning performance relative to fulfillment and long-term sustainability.
- Define make/buy, do/buy, and re-use strategies per module/system, assess market suppliers, and ensure supply contracts and specifications are optimized to meet module/system requirements, including fulfillment strategy, cost, and lead-time.
- Specify, manage, and document interface definitions and controls between modules/systems to achieve the lowest installed and/or lifecycle cost, allowing each design and fulfillment team to work independently and integrate their work.
- Lead and/or participate in the verification and validation of designs from engineering teams and suppliers.
- Oversee initial cut-in project applications and confirm the sustainability of initiatives to achieve net recurring benefits for the business.
- Analyze large data sets across multiple sources and utilize the same to generate new insights and ideas to execute
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Significant experience in engineering, operations, product management, or related areas.

- Master's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.

- Experience or academic background in systems engineering.

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on critical systems thinking, root cause analysis, and business case development and analysis.
- Quick learner with the ability to acquire and apply new knowledge from various disciplines both formally and informally.
- Understanding of customer needs, project requirements, and the competitive landscape to integrate best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $134,000 - $223,400 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
