Job Description Summary

As Customer Service Intern you will be responsible for activities related to Customer Service Management which entails the execution of activities that supports customer needs in the region. Your role entail interfacing with various internal departments from Engineering, Sales, Finance, Logistics, Parts, Sourcing, Quality, Safety etc. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Activities related to supporting the scope from tendering phase, execution phase and service operations phase.
  • Have some high-level overview knowledge on Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Turbines, Generators, Distributed Control Systems, Excitation Systems OR Digital Systems.
  • Realize the Electrical and Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) technical documents as required by the management team and engineering team within allocated time schedule and with adequate quality.
  • Comply with the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Finance principle.
  • The role requires an interface as necessary with various departments such as Engineering, Sales, Commercial, Finance, Logistics, Parts, Sourcing, Quality, Safety.
  • Compile and review technical scope documents. Retrieve and analyse technical documents required by management, engineering, or parts team.
  • Create financial workflow and tracking of service works.
  • Take proactive measures and alert the management of all unexpected difficulties encountered during the work.
  • Adapt/ assume other activities out of the scope from time to time.
  • The role requires site visits from time to time to meet the site engineers, customer, and project teams as parts of actively working on solutions.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual with willingness to learn, to go an extra mile, work with multidisciplinary teams, have a good communication skill and can think out of the box.

Required Qualifications

  • Electrical or Electronic B-Tech/ BSc degree
  • Electrical or Electronic Diploma with at least 1 year experience in similar role

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market/sell, and execute programs.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
