Job Description Summary
While our Industry transformation keep accelerating from more and more renewable integration in the European Grid, we see a key role to play by our GE Grid Automation businesses by providing real time digital solutions to monitor, protect and control complex and inter-dependent electrical networks.
The Grid Automation Leader for Central Europe & CIS countries will be responsible to build the business strategy for the region, addressing these growing challenges and opportunities from our market.
They will be responsible to develop the P&L and to ensure first-class Operations. The role includes a direct management of the Operational functions (Order Fulfillment, Projects, Engineering, Services, Technical Support) and a functional management of our Commercial functions (Sales, tendering application).

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with EHS, quality and Integrity policies (GE Values)
- Ensuring Grid Automation growth within the region. Building strategy plan, in collaboration with commercial/sales function, and operational capabilities
- In charge of delivering the Budget P&L: orders growth (with commercial/sales function), sales, margin, cash, cost control, Risks & Opportunities, and recovery & mitigations plan
- In charge of building a lean and performing organization within the region, with a team spread across several sites and front offices: Germany, Poland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Latvia
- Lead change management to ensure teams accountability, business focus and customers mindset within the team
- Be responsible for building strong long-term relationships with customers
- Manage skills and development plan of the team - Around 70 employees across mentioned regions (project & account management, expertise for complex project)
Reporting line:Regional General Manager of the region.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited university/college or similar knowledge/experience
- +15 years of working experience in a similar position with a consistent career path and strong business acumen
- Proven experience in leading P&L, strong business acumen with successful management experience and discipline in managing a business line
- Strong capacity to lead multi-cultural teams and to work in international matrix organization. Ability to easily interact at various levels of the company, including executive leaders
- Ability to influence and to drive changes through exceptional leadership & communication skills, personal engagement, resilience, autonomy. Ability to achieve organizational goals
- Great understanding of the Energy market & Power distribution rounds your profile
- Native German and fluent in English is a must
